The work in this career is behind the scences work. All the work that needs to be done in order for a film to be created and come to life. Everyone starts as a assistant or trainee and works their way up.Such tasks include...

  • Getting coffee
  • Taking Notes
  • Organizing Planners

These are just a couple tasks that a ordanary assistant/trainee in any other field would have to do, according to their profession decision. More tasks are given as a person works thier way up that ladder. Than tasks are giving to you depending on what part of the film crew you go into. For example I hope to work my way up to a producer than some of my tasks could include...

  • writing bugets
  • cunsult writers
  • choose the director

The enviornment in which someone in this carrer is usually on set of a production stuio of some sort.In this carrer it is very hectic, you have to be able to take regection if you have some kind of idea but others may not like it. As for a producer you have to deal with bad wheather on location, conflict with writers, and even sometimes you might have a director quit on you.In this field most work a minnimum of 13 hours a day, which rounds up to 70 hours a week. Around the same is said for a producer with an average of 12 hour days but roughly around 70 hours a week as well.
A typical work week for a producer could be performing all of the tasks above.

The skills that are needed in either being in film and t.v crew person as well as a producer is experiance. You have to know how to work things in this field. For a producer business training is very helpful, because a producer has to work with budgets, project management, and contract negotiations.
